Get Your Game On – Tuesday, April 3 (10:00am-7:00pm) – Strathmore Municipal Library.  Calling all gamers!  Looking for something to do with the kids during their break?  Come get your game on at the library with a variety of cool board games and giant games such as Checkers, Jenga, Connect 4, and Snakes and Ladders!  This program is free to attend.  Children under the age of 8 years must be accompanied by an adult or responsible older sibling.  Drop in any time between 10am-7pm to participate.


Pick Your Own Program Day – Wednesday, April 4 (1:00pm-4:00pm) – Strathmore Municipal Library.  You are the creator!  You are the builder!  Discover new talents as you make your way through a selection of self-guided creation stations!  Drop in any time from 1-4pm to participate.  This program is open to all ages and if free to attend.  Children under the age of 8 years must be accompanied by an adult or responsible older sibling.


Mad Science Madness – Thursday, April 5 (1:00pm-3:00pm) – Strathmore Municipal Library. Join Karla and Heather for an afternoon of scientific madness!  Engage your inner scientist with hands-on experiments and chemistry, as we create mini explosions, explore rainbow on paper, and play with thermodynamics!  This free program is for ages 8 and older.  Registration starts Monday, March 19.  Free to attend.  Limited to 30 participants.


Friday Fun Film – Friday, April 6 (1:00pm-3:00pm) – Strathmore Municipal Library.  Join us for our Friday Fun Film in our new large program room!  We will be showing the wacky Disney flick, George of the Jungle!  Rated PG.  At the end of the film we will draw for one lucky participant to take the movie home with them.  Participants will be treated to popcorn and drinks!  This program is free to attend and no registration is required.


Edible Book Day – Saturday, April 7 (12pm-4pm) – Strathmore Municipal Library.  Do you love books?  And food?  And prizes?  If you’ve answered “yes” to any of these questions, you’ll want to participate in our fourth annual Edible Book Day contest!  We are challenging you to create the coolest edible book creation and join us for this fun, tasty competition.  Entries will be accepted from 5pm on April 6 to 12:00pm on April 7.  Public viewing and voting will take place from 12:00pm-1:30pm on April 7.  Prizes will be awarded at 2:00pm.  For prizes, categories, and full details go to
