For your written final, you will have the choice between writing a short story, or an essay. You will have one full block to complete the final on the date listed above. We will have the Chromebooks, but if you wish to hand-write, please bring blank paper, something to write with (pencil, or a blue or black pen). Everyone must bring a book for if you finish early. Be ready to write when the bell rings so that you have as much time as possible. There will be no reading at the start.
To prepare for this component, make sure you study your notes on how to write a short story and an essay as you will NOT be able to bring any notes in with you.
You will receive the topic and be reading the story for the essay, as well as doing any planning, the class prior to the dates above, so please make sure you are here for those classes! If you miss the planning class, you MUST come see me or email me before your Written Final date.

IF YOU KNOW IN ADVANCE THAT YOU WILL BE ABSENT FOR ANY OF THE ABOVE DATES, PLEASE LET ME KNOW SO WE CAN PLAN AROUND IT.
